What is a Credit Union?
A credit union is a not-for-profit financial co-operative, owned, controlled, and operated for and by its members. Since there are no outside stockholders to satisfy, the credit union can return a greater percentage of its income to you, the member-owner, in the form of higher interest rates on deposits, lower rates on loans, and usually fewer and lower fees.
